Inspiration

Inspiration for a coastal interior can come from a variety of places and resources. Magazines such as Coast Magazine , a trip to the coast, or something you have seen on social media. We have come up with a few ways to add a coastal feel to your home:

Paint Colours

One of the most effective ways to add a coastal feel to a room is to pick a paint colour which mimics seaside colours. Pastel hues are a beautiful way to make a room feel fresh and seasidey.

Or use pale blues against sandy tones, or use darker blues against white for a more sailor inspired interior.

Accessories

Furniture

A popular look (who doesn’t want to be reminded of the peace of the sand and sea) there are some gorgeous pieces of furniture which can add a coastal feels to a room. Light wood and driftwood can look beautiful in a pastel interior. Whilst white furniture looks great in a more sailor inspired room.
